Founded in 2015, Mankind is an approach inspired by traditional and modern barbering techniques from all around the world. Over the years, the world has watched the "Modern Man" become more trimmed, toned and groomed. As a concept, Mankind is intended to be a relaxed environment where people can feel comfortable discussing their haircut wants and needs, and at the same time, be somewhere they can come for a simple, fuss free haircut if that's what they want - and ofcourse, we are always happy to welcome anyone through our door thats looking for a gender neutral haircut.We are proud to be able to promote that we have always prioritised the importance of providing a safe, comfortable space for all.

The shop is situated in the diverse area of Withington, M20. The area is best known for its youthful student population, and the exclusive hustle and bustle of the neighbouring areas, West Didsbury, and Fallowfield, which are both just a short walk away. It goes without saying, in such a custom made location, the team are always equipped to offer the most up to date style advise and know exactly where to look for the newest trends.

Within our suburban hideout, we pride ourselves on our relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and our commitment to precision. We like to get to know our customers, and embrace their personal style, which is what makes us more than just a barbers. We recognise that convenience is key when choosing a spot for a haircut , which is why we offer a premium online booking service, late night appointments, free Wi-Fi in-house and as much of our time as you need.
